Tip for Other Campers:

The Psychiatric Museum in Saint Joseph, approx. 18 miles north, was fascinating. Closest grocery shopping, including Walmart and drug stores, is in Atchison, Kansas, about 7 miles west.

WI_TWO Bring you own Internet! Connection was awful there for some reason. Poplar Bluff is a larger city so pretty much all you need there within 5 miles. There is place called The Fishn Pig that has good catfish! about 5 miles from there.

Melanie D On a previous stay, we went into town for dinner and to do laundry and found plenty of choices for food and the closest laundromat was large, with clean machines. Town is very close by.

Just across the Missouri River from Atchison, KS. Converted mobile home park with old pads still in place. Good LOS for DirecTV. Stayed there a month. Enjoyed the place. Very difficult to find....
