Tip for Other Campers:
This park is on the northwest side of Springfield near Republic, but only 6 miles from (the original and headquarters) Bass Pro Shop which also houses the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum and the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium. Springfield also has the St Louis Cardinals' minor league team here as well. Plenty to eat, see and do here!

The Ozark Mill at Finley Farms is a must-try restaurant on the Finley River, about 25 minutes away. Fantastic ambience, views, service, and food.
