Tips from campers about Ozark Riverfront Campground
- ETB The closest restaurant is the Lode Star Casino in Fort Thompson, about 3 miles from the campground. Lynn's Dakotamart is the closest market which is also in Fort Thompson. The Post Office in Fort Thompson does accept General Delivery. If you need something shipped General Delivery, besides USPS, United Parcel Service (UPS) is the only major delivery company that will delivery to the Post Office. Tip for Other Campers:
When you get to Brown St. You need to go under the bridge to get to the Park. Not much to do in town other than go to the National Park, providing it is open....
The new owners have put in a significant effort to improve this campground. Lots of gravel, all new utilities (50a,30a electric),water, sewer at many sites, lots of shade trees. We were in site 8....
