“Great bike trails AND love the ice cream at the cute little store!!”
Nightly Rate: $14 USD
Full hook ups, clean and great staff! The lower campground was flooded but we still had a great time! We camped at People's Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about People's Creek Campground
- Jacqueline_85 Monterey has so much to see and do. Carmel by the Sea is very close too. We also did a driving tour down to Big Sur and Garrapata State Park. Point Lobos State Natural Preserve is lovely amd great for walks along the coast and wildlife viewing. Get there early to find parking in the park.2 weeks ago Monterey Elks Lodge #1285
- Jhammeras Must see Monterey attraction is the Aquarium. Cannery Row is fun for walking around. We like to eat at the Fish Hopper at Cannery Row and then stop at Ghirardelli's after for a sweet treat or hot cocoa. If you like history - look into the many adobes that have been preserved in town, including California's First Theatre and the Customs House that date back to early 1800s. Tip for Other Campers:
Little bit of road noise but very tolerable. There are 5-6 good places to eat plus Texas-Hold'em tournaments at the tackle box bar and grill and VFW in Wappappello. Small grocery store nearby. 2 places nearby to buy split firewood at great prices. I cannot say enough good things about this park and surrounding areas. You just have to experience it firsthand.
