Tip for Other Campers:
River house and the Corral were very good restaurants. Big Sky is well worth the time. Take the tram to the top of Lone Peak. The farmers market on Wed evenings is very nice. Pinkys pizza was excellent.

A short trip out of the campground north is the town of Big Sky, Montana which has great cell service and shopping.

- Dennis Hosang We had one bar of Verizon cell phone service. No wireless internet. The price we paid is for prime time and this wasn’t prime time. Ur pool wasn’t open, at this price u would expect internet or cable and nothing. Great location.4 years ago Steamboat Park Campground

- Michael_EE The campground is also the home of a riverboat, which looked like it could have been fun but was laid up for winter. The driveway to the park entrance is long, winding and not well lit - don't drive into the river! This campground is minutes away from food, fuel and entertainment. Tip for Other Campers:
If you like to hike there are many hiking trails nearby. We greatly enjoyed Ousel Falls Park Trail in Big Sky, and we also hiked to Rat Lake north of Big Sky. If youre looking for great food, definitely check out Ousel & Spur in Big Sky!

Tip for Other Campers:
We took a day trip into Bozeman to check out the Museum of the Rockies and walk the cute shops downtown.
Another day we spent zip-lining with Montana Whitewater. Lots to do in surrounding Big Sky and close to West Yellowstone.
