Ennis was a neat little town. As others have said, it is a big fly fishing area - I counted six fly shops.We ate at the Gravel Bar - Good burger.The second night we went to Tavern 287 expecting a bar - Wrong! - bobcovey Elks Park downtown is outstanding, went every morning to walk dogs on lots of grass and paths. Ennis is a great town. See Bullies, Nearly New and Plain Jane’s. Underwhelmed by restaurants, but several closed due to Covid. Deemo’s Meat Market is outstanding, best steak we have had in 30 years. Madison Food Market is good, too, has lots of wines. Take a day trip to Yellowstone, its a beautiful drive and the West entrance is kinda low key. Head up to upper Sureshot lake and fly fish up some Brook trout, small but plentiful and amazing colors!...
