Tips from campers about Downstream Campground
- Turnbulls Travels The dam visitor center seems to be open weekends only, so if you want to visit, plan ahead. Also, a word of caution! We use RV Life GPS, integrated with our trip plan. We were coming from the west, so heading east on Route 2. The GPS directed us to turn right on 6th Street, so we did - because, you know, RV Life knows our height. Suddenly we were faced with a 12'6" railroad bridge. Had to call the police to stop traffic on Route 2 so we could reverse, had to unhook toad, etc. . . . lots of excitement. We've reported that bug, but beware if you're a Class A or Fifth Wheel, don't go on 6th Street! The truck route is 4th street, just a couple blocks over.2 years ago Downstream Campground

Stayed at numerous COE campgrounds. They have all been terrific. This one is even better! We camped at Downstream Campground in a Travel Trailer.

“Great COE with lots to do and see”

About 20 minutes from the 2, this is a large, well cared for COE. Large sites with somewhat level asphalt pads. Good 50 amp electric service at rear of site. Water spigots for potable water scattered...
