The ranger talks are in an amphitheater with a good view of the lake. If your vehicle fits the size regulations the campground is two minutes from the Going to the Sun Road, which is spectacular. We were 10 inches over the 21 foot length limit and didn't have a problem, but we went when no permit was required.

Question:
Do I need a timed vehicle entry reservation for going to the sun rd if I am staying at Apgar campground? The NPS page doesn't say Apgar in its examples, but it is west of Logan Pass so seems like it should qualify....
