“Good place if you have watercraft for lake, but not much shade and no water or dump.”
Nightly Rate: $26 USD
Stayed here two nights as a rest/replenish area around Helena, MT. It's right alongside a large lake, so it's a hot spot for boaters, but no viable access to lake for swimming in this area, so you'd...

Tip for Other Campers:
Helena is only 15 minutes away to replenish & going out to eat. Loved the Lewis & Clark Brewery. Also, you have to take a ride toward the end of York Rd to the York Bar. Great burgers with an entertaining bartender named British. It's a mix of locals and tourists there....
“Great park on water”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
No hookup but nice clean site. We had a site right on water and it was very quiet. Would stay here again. We camped at Devil's Elbow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

- TwoSheepsToTheWind It can be hot here out in the sun. If you're used to AC, beware.3 years ago Devil's Elbow Campground
- ScottyJams We took several great hikes. Both from downtown Helena. The climb up Mount Helena, whichever route you take is definitely worth it. We stop for appetizers and drinks at the Mediterranean Grill, also downtown. Food was good and in spite of being very busy the service was excellent.3 years ago Devil's Elbow Campground

“If you have a boat”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Good campground for locals with a boat. Passing through not worth it unless its on your route. No water, electricity or dumping facilities. We camped at Devil's Elbow Campground in a Travel Trailer.
