“nice shade, but costly.”
Nightly Rate: $96 USD
Sites were ample sized and we had full hookups. Disappointed though, at that price I expected cable tv and a fenced in dog park. They did have an empty field that you could walk a dog but no fence to...

Tip for Other Campers:
Kalispell was great and close access to Columbia falls, whitefish, and the small towns on the way to glacier park. Be sure to stop and have a huckleberry shake in Columbia Falls.
“Beautiful location but Not worth the $$$$”
Nightly Rate: $120 USD
The trees, the river, very nice. The loud highway noise, not so nice. Our site was in "B" section just below the freeway and for $100 a night we didn't think it was worth it. Likely the sites further...

The takeout BBQ wagon at 520 E. Idaho St. Has some of the best BBQ around. Big Bucks Sports Bar and Grill has good food and cold beer just 1.3 miles away.

- JM in an Airstream If you are considering staying here to explore Glacier NP, you are about 35 minutes from the park entrance. There are closer places in West Glacier, Coram or Columbia Falls. But, if you want to explore several places around the area, its a good location for being central to Kalispell, Bigfork, Flathead Lake, and only 30 minutes Whitefish.4 years ago Spruce Park on the River

“Nice stop for a couple days ”
Nightly Rate: $130 USD
Restrooms were super clean , staff was friendly. Sites were fine, the best looking ones are in the no pet area, but there you also contend with traffic noise. Nothing much to see or do here if you...

“Beautiful riverfront camping.”
Nightly Rate: $110 USD
The Flathead River runs fast and deep here but there are points up and downstream where you can access and do some fishing for some rainbow trout. Beware the cottonwood trees in June will get fluff...

“Beautiful campground”
Nightly Rate: $71 USD
This park is beautiful and well spaced. Because they weren't busy they upgraded our site so we weren't by the road. I really appreciated this. We were right by the river and in some trees. The park...
