Kalispell was great and close access to Columbia falls, whitefish, and the small towns on the way to glacier park. Be sure to stop and have a huckleberry shake in Columbia Falls.

The takeout BBQ wagon at 520 E. Idaho St. Has some of the best BBQ around. Big Bucks Sports Bar and Grill has good food and cold beer just 1.3 miles away.

- JM in an Airstream If you are considering staying here to explore Glacier NP, you are about 35 minutes from the park entrance. There are closer places in West Glacier, Coram or Columbia Falls. But, if you want to explore several places around the area, its a good location for being central to Kalispell, Bigfork, Flathead Lake, and only 30 minutes Whitefish.4 years ago Spruce Park on the River
