  BDsNoBo Tips for one of the best national parks in the country? Anything you do will be great. Recommend the GyPSy App for Going to the Sun Road. The App is free, buy the narrative and download it to your phone, and it will use GPS while you drive to provide commentary, without phone service. If you have extra days try Many Glacier or Two Medicine Lake. We got to the Swiftwater trailhead (for the Red Rock Falls trail--great!) before 8:00 and found an almost empty parking lot, but it was full when we finished the hike at 11:30. The Rockwell Falls trail at Two Medicine was also good. Be prepared for Park Service attempts to manage the crowds. Check the website and/or social often for updates. I noticed the GTTSR shuttle ticket requirements on Instagram the day before they went "on sale" -- we managed to get a pair for every day we were there and used them three times--Sun Point (fantastic hike to St Mary and Virginia Falls), Logan Pass and Avalanche Lake. The shuttles were not full and were much more convenient than trying to find parking at the trailheads. We also easily scored a GTTSR pass for the last week it was required (the week before Labor Day--passes were available for the two days prior to the day I wanted one), but we only used it for a hike that wasn't serviced by a shuttle and for just driving the road. Finally, Two Sisters Cafe for dinner. My husband loved the Trout and Waffles!

  Scottie F Make sure to do visit the "Road to the Sun" along with all the other Glacier National attractions. Practice up on picture taking! Need a good place to eat out...go to "Two Sisters" (Remember....don't judge a book by its' cover) The food and service is fantastic. Try the Bison Burger! Suggestion -- Out of Browning, MT take Route 464 north instead of Route 89 or Starr School Road. Route 464 is slightly longer in miles, but much easier to travel with a bigger RV. Route 464 will bring you back into Route 89 just north of St. Mary / East Glacier KOA.

  Donskiman Easy drive to Waterton in Canada. Nice hiking near Many Glacier but the hotel was closed for the season despite the crowds. Saw a moose on one of the trails.
