“Beautiful shade trees”

Lovely place good for walking dogs to river and seeing nearby Kootenai Falls. If a cyclist, use the back road for a quick trip to Troy. We have e bikes so were able to manage the hills ok. Camp hosts...

“Lovely, small, private campground”
Nightly Rate: $59 USD
Lovely small campground that is well taken care of - trees, flower boxes, and nice grass space. The owners Chris and Marcy really show their care. Very friendly and helpful. Ask them for things to do!...

Tip for Other Campers:
More to do in the area than you would think. Definitely go to Kootenai Falls and the Swinging Bridge just down the road maybe 10 miles. We lucked out and got to watch more than 2 dozed kayakers go down the falls and rapids. We ventured back again to Bonners Ferry and the Kootenai Natural Wildlife Refuge (went 2 years ago). Traipsed up to Mystic Falls which...

We camped for 4 nights in site 17, which was an enormous grassy pull-through site with full hookups, a fire ring, a picnic table, and dappled shade. The sites are so big side to side and front to...

Tip for Other Campers:
Troy, Montana is a quaint mountain town with a couple of good restaurants and stores. We highly recommend the nearby Kootenai Falls and Swinging Bridge as well as the nearby Ross Cedar walking trail. Both are absolutely beautiful. We drove to a fantastic restaurant called Riverbend outside of the nearby town of Libby, MT, where the food was exceptional as...

Nice park next to the river with trees and plenty of shade. Quite with no road noise. We camped at Kootenai River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
We stayed three nights so we could see the annual International Chainsaw Carving Championship in Libby, MT which is 19 miles from the park. Fun town and the Mint Bar was a great place to cool off and enjoy an adult beverage. Drove to the Ross Creek Cedar tree park.
