The "park" is basically just a lot that has spaces for RV's. Very tight. Cable, was about 5 channels. Has internet. The only reason to stay here is the proximity to the Yellowstone gate, about .06...

This is small RV park within easy walking distance to just about everything in West Yellowstone. Though it was crowded and the sites were small, it wasn't difficult to back-in to our site and the...

Tip for Other Campers:

We ate at the Buffalo Bar (fair-to-good) and the Slippery Otter (fair-to-good). There are a lot of tourist places, all are expensive for what you get. The town has two markets, and both are actually quite good. We would recommend eating in your RV! Obviously, Yellowstone is the star attraction and it is phenomenal. Grand Teton National Parks is 2.5 hours...

They were one of few open in early may. The hosts were very nice. They give free drink tokens for the nearby bar, but that doesn't offset the outrageous price. Small lot, tight spaces. Clean, heated...

Tip for Other Campers:

West Yellowstone is a cute tourist trap. As with most towns next to a national park, expect high prices for the basics.

Very small rv park (15 sites maybe on an eighth of a corner city lot) in quiet part of town, but close in to everything. New managers are making improvements (landscaping, new gravel, picnic tables)....

Tip for Other Campers:

Obviously Yellowstone Park is the draw to stay here. Town has 2 supermarkets, several good restaurants. We tried Buckaroo Bills which is a novel dining experience, booths are covered chuck wagon; and the Buffalo Bar is decorated with wildlife heads and a huge buffalo; both have good food at reasonable prices.

The park is a great value for the area, however there is a reason it is so cheap. The sites are fit in wherever the owners thought they could squeeze in another space. We had barely enough room to...
