“Not many camper here this year, very quiet”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Good value, popular place for bicycle traveling, good clean restrooms and showers. Great grass for tent camping. We camped at Big Hole River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean bathrooms and showers were very nice. Sites were clean and easy to set up in. Horses in back of our site provided added enjoyment. We camped at Big Hole River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We spent two nights here. When we pulled in I was a little concerned, since it is off a dirt road, the road in the campground was dirt and the site was mostly dirt held in place by patchy brown grass....

This park is under renovation and the new owners are working on landscaping and sites. Interior roads and sites are dirt and a scattering of gravel. All sites are back in and are mostly level....

Bannack ghost town was extremely interesting and well worth the 40 minute drive. We combined it with the Pioneer Mountains Scenic byway which made a nice day trip. Crystal park at the top of the scenic byway is a place where you can dig for amethyst and quartz crystals if you have tools with you. The Big Hole Battlefield can be seen in two to three hours or...
