Tip for Other Campers:

This CG is less than a mile from Chadron State Park which has many hiking trails as well as other amenities - tennis, frisbee golf, swimming, picnicking, horseback riding, etc. Its also less than 10 miles to 3 other trail heads, including those in Pine Ridge NRA. Chadron is 8 miles north of the CG.

A primitive National Forest campground. Well shaded, quiet and clean. Not big rig friendly though. Just off of hwy 385, 10 miles south of Chadron, just a couple of minutes to Chadron State Park....
