Tips from campers about Ely KOA Journey
- colochoclab Great Basin NP is (relatively) close by within one hour. Leahman Cave tours was great, but reserve early as they sell out in advance! "Garnet Hill" is a place about 10 minutes north of Ely where you can walk around looking for garnets in their natural state! We found two!2 years ago Ely KOA Journey

- Tpguess Do not miss "Rack's Bar and Grill" downtown. Excellent food and great friendly service. Train Museum is very interesting and unique. If you really love trains... this is a must. The C.A.L. We stayed here one night on the way to Las Vegas. Overall cleanliness, staff and access were exceptional. We camped at Ely KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.
