Tips from campers about Yerington, NV
- SCPO_Jim Be prepared for no cell service at the campground.6 months ago Gerald Freeman campground
- Ebrjmr The road up to the campsite is a very hilly, windy road. Caution. Go slow around those corners as the shoulder is quite a drop off. There is a creek that runs through the campground that people fish on, kayak, and canoe.11 months ago Gerald Freeman campground
- RichandLiz As others have said, the road to the campground is windy and hilly with little to no shoulder. Tip: If you have a towed vehicle, recommend unhooking before you head up the hill and have someone drive ahead of you with a walkie talkie to tell you when trucks (mainly) and vehicles were coming. When no vehicles are coming, you can take corners wide and use more of the road. If there is a truck coming, you can slow down and stay in your lane. Worked great for us.1 year ago Gerald Freeman campground
