Tips from campers about Apple Hill Campground
- LZee11 As others have said, Panama City Beach Parkway is a very busy road and hard (but not impossible) to turn left out of the campground. - JenandJohn Always plan to turn, right, north, out of the campground because of bad traffic the left turn it's difficult unless you have an especially strong engine. We loved our stay here! Rob, the owner, was super helpful and accommodating. He allowed us to extend our PA stay to 6 nights and then we paid for another night to get our travel day back on schedule....

Tip for Other Campers:
You must drive the Kancamagus Highway and visit the White Mountains. Stunning in the fall. Waterfall hiking was pretty nice too.

Tip for Other Campers:
Crawford Notch is a beautiful park only a short drive away. Great hiking and scenery there. Go to Reklis Brewery. The food and beer is terrific there!
