The Washington Cog railroad was a really interesting ride. It's about an hour away. On a hot day, pull over to the side of the road in the White Mountains National Forest and let the kids go in the water that bubbling over the rocks. Appleknockers is a local store about 3 miles south on rt 25 in Wentworth. They have gas, food and swimming toys. Its also a hardware store. Moose Scoops is located in the middle of town.
