“Great Halloween Camping ”
Nightly Rate: $160 USD
This is a campground that has a lot of seasonal campers. They are pretty much in the lower level of the campground. The sites on the hill that we stayed in were very wooded. We stayed in site 209. It...

If you are camping with kids Cherry Crest Adventure Farm which is in Ronks was a lot of fun. It's about an hour away but worth the experience. We also had a meal at Ozgood's Grill and Bar. The food was good.
“Quiet Campground”

This campground is about 20 mins from Jim Thorpe. We camped in this area to see the fall colors. Unfortunately, we were too early. This campground is small but well maintained. About half of the sites...

Tip for Other Campers:
If going into Jim Thorpe get there early, especially on the weekend. You can park at the train station but even that will fill up quickly on the weekend. We rode the scenic train. Make sure you sit on the left hand side of the train to get the best view. Take the History Trolley Tour with Glenn. It was fun and really informative.
“Wooded Sites (higher campsites)”
Nightly Rate: $85 USD
We have stayed at this campground many times before. Now it is owned by the Thousand Trails company. The store is small and other than clothing to advertise this campground there was very little...

Tip for Other Campers:
Every Friday the Green Dragon Flea market is held in Ephrata. Great food and furniture. It's about 30 mins from this campground. Also, make a stop at Kitchen Kettle Village. Another nice town to walk through is Lititz. Nice shops to see. Visit Sturgis pretzels and Wilbur Chocolate.
“Large Sites - Well Maintained CG”
Nightly Rate: $84 USD
We stayed at this campground from Monday- Wednesday. They do have a decent amount of activities but none during the week. Our site was in a field that had a couple of trees that gave our site a little...

Tip for Other Campers:
We went to the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. It was a nice museum and reasonably priced. While in Stockbridge we ate at a Main Street Cafe which had good, fresh food. There are hiking trails near the mountains.
“Very Nice Wooded Sites”
Nightly Rate: $126 USD
I am going to give my opinion of this campground as accurately as I can.Pros- 1) Beautiful pool. Water slides for the kids. It's very large and heated. 2)The sites are large and wooded. You can...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Washington Cog railroad was a really interesting ride. It's about an hour away. On a hot day, pull over to the side of the road in the White Mountains National Forest and let the kids go in the water that bubbling over the rocks. Lincoln has a couple restaurants that were pretty good. Clark Bears is a show that was entertaining. We also went on a Moose...
