Tip for Other Campers:
Stokes State Forest is right next door and has wonderful hiking. The Sussex Branch Rail trail is also nearby for biking.
Tips from campers about Kymer's Camping Resort
- Ryan Frerichs Convenient to Freeport and around 20 minutes to Portland. Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro in Freeport is excellent for dinner, as was Aki sushi. Loved Portland, especially the Old Port area. Visit the Milk Street Distillery, in Branchville, for amazing spirits, liquor, cocktails, live music, and food trucks.
Buy firewood from local vendors because pricing in the campground is exorbitant.
