Site 58- Sandy and unleveled campground, surrounded by many seasonal campers. Playground nice, pool was beautiful. Lake dirty with a lot of floating debris. Spent a lot of time off the campground in...

Tips from campers about Timberland Lake Campground
- RPM-Traveler The local town of Ronan offers adequate shopping for supplies, and fuel as well as vehicle maintenance help and restaurants. Great base camp for day trips to local attractions such as Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains.4 years ago Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground
- Kcirce Lots to do in the area (more than we thought): Definitely go to the Bison Range (formerly National Bison Range - learn the story). The loop drives were amazing, but didn't see much wildlife until nearly the end on the lower prairie loop where all the bison were. Only 2 short walking areas where you can get out of the car. St. Ignatius Mission is another stop - gorgeous paintings on the inside. Amish country so a stop at Stutzman's Country Market. The Garden of a Thousand Buddahs in Arlee was unexpected. Ninepipes Museum of Early MT was quite good (bigger than it looks. All collected by one man). The Miracle of America Museum in Polson is amazing! You could spend hours here! And Kerr Dam. Did a drive around Flathead Lake but not as interesting as thought. We missed cherry season unfortunately. There is a bike trail almost across the road that at least goes to Polson.6 months ago Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground
- Kirbmobile The town of Ronan has several grocery stores and gas stations for supplies as well as a handful of restaurants to try out. The park is right off the main highway so easy to navigate to. 20 mins from Polson which has Walmart and larger stores and more options and leads you to the rest of the Flathead Lake area. Ronan is also very close to the National Bison Range which is a must-do if you're in the area.7 months ago Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground

“Good overnight stay”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
Big rig friendly with level sites. Cable, no wifi, and no dog park with grass to walk dog. Not close to highway. We camped at Timberland Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Got lots of coffee bags at Dunkin for $5 per lb. Pasquale's pizza close by the park is good!
