Tip for Other Campers:
Day trip to Red River was fun; quirky ski town. The Vietnam Memorial and Museum is much more than it appears from the roadside. If you have any interest in this period of time or want to pay respect, this is a superior homage to our vets. Some of the restaurants and shops were closed and do not reopen until May.

The only advice I would offer is caution for the high elevation. We are sitting at 8,600 ft in elevation. If you are prone to elevation sickness, make sure you stay fully hydrated. - Duran The park does not allow dog fences, pens or e-collars, so be prepared to leash/tether your dogs (or cats I imagine). Walmart, groceries, hardware, fast food all about 3 miles away. There was road construction coming from Taos. Angel Fire is pretty small so only basic shops. Taos was 30 minutes away.
Large dog run, pickleball courts, gym and store on site.
Very idyllic setting.
