It was a little tight getting out. The park is pretty, the staff were terrific and so friendly. Park sits in pretty surroundings. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of our favorite small RV parks. The hosts are incredible. This trip we had a very nice FHU pull in on the river. Other sites are shaded and some in open space. Close to town and the scenic...

Tips from campers about Sky Mountain Resort RV Park
- TMN-15 Our purpose in staying here was visiting Georgia OKeefes home/studio in Abiquiu. There is a Corps of Engineers CG on Lake Abiquiu, but we were unable to secure a reservation. If you are a Georgia OKeefe fan, the house/studio tour is well worth the expense ($85 per) and hassle (1 hour drive from Chama, 8:00 am check-in). Tickets available @ 505-685-4016. Enjoyed ticking one more off our bucket list!2 years ago Sky Mountain Resort RV Park
- ronboett Chama is a small town with a big attraction, The Cumbers and Toltec railroad steam train. If you haven't taken the 64 mile trip on this train, make reservations NOW! Try Fina's restaurant for a delicious breakfast burrito and The Boxcar for excellent enchiladas.7 years ago Sky Mountain Resort RV Park
- Ruby_729 The train ride is beautiful and the included lunch is delicious. The July 4th fireworks are the best I have seen. The mountain drives in the area are well maintained and some can be done in a car. The Outlaw BBQ north of the park has fried okra, rare for the area and the BBQ and beans are great also.5 months ago Sky Mountain Resort RV Park
