Tips from campers about Akers RV & Trailer Park
- pilots48 It's to bad that the 2 buildings that once had toilets and showers have been closed and are being vandalized. Also to bad some sites don't have water and electric seeing that water and electric are/were already in the campground. Tip for Other Campers:
This is a very rural community, has a Walmart and an Albertsons. Gas prices are a little steep, but if you have a good app you can find some of the cheaper places. Just opened to Texas Roadhouse a year ago.

Tip for Other Campers:
There are two restaurants within walking distance (1/2 mile one way). The neighborhood seemed sketchy, however, we didn't encounter any issues. We ate at K-Bobs and would recommend it. They let us have our dogs on the patio.
