“Older park with great camp hosts”

There are several different areas for RVs to park. We always stay in the upper camp which has shade and is close to restrooms and laundry. The camp sites are spacious but not well maintained (weeds)....

Tip for Other Campers:
The lake is nice, and so is the nearby State Park with its amenities by the lake. Hiking and watersports/fishing are the things to do there. The views are great around the lake.
Tips from campers about Angel Nest Retreat
- DJR CMR Be aware access is challenging. Route 9w, SR 293 and a portion of Route 6 is ok for RVs. The best access is from 9w is 218 (Mountain Rd) but it's posted for 5 tons max. Coming from Newburgh on 9W there is bridge posted at 12'10". The village has several family restaurants, cool coffee shop downtown too.5 years ago Highland Falls RV Park & Marina

Right off highway, plenty of room to navigate and get into space for big rigs. Just a large parking area but with nice, open view of surrounding area. Short walk to eagles nest state park and lake....

The price is for 50 amp and monthly. You will pay to stay in Eagle Nest or in this area. Water and electric was good. Quiet place. They are putting in more 50 amp spaces. Not much for shade trees....
