Tip for Other Campers:
Offroading! TC and Elephant Butte have a good vibe. Truth or Consequences brewery had some good beer and ciders. Casa Taco in Elephant Butte is very good if you like spicy! We wanted to eat at the Bigfoot restaurant but it was closed during our stay.

Take the drive to White Sands National Park and Almagoorda seems like a nice town
MUST do, soak up the mineral water at Hoosier Hot Springs!!! Do the one hour soak inside, extremely zen
