Be CAREFUL coming from I-25. Do not bring much of a camper over the Black Ridge on NM hwy 152. Drive down to Deming, and up 180. Much safer, and faster.
Tips from campers about Mountain Spirits RV Park
- Justice12t Close to the zoo, indoor bounce house/play area, science center, etc. The location is great, easy to get to and close to shopping if you need it.3 months ago Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Campground
- RD66 Asheboro Zoo is close4 months ago Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Campground
- jdshess You may need an extra water hose to hook up, it was definitely a stretch and we had to use two hoses. Cooler week days may be a better choice when visiting the Zoo. We went on Labor Day - crowded, humid and not many animals out and about.7 months ago Zooland Family Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Head to Gila Cliff Dwelling and do some fishing on the Gila River. We caught a bunch of fish just before sunset. Very scenic roads and loads of elk and deer to watch.
