At the top of the campground, there is a popular trailhead leading up the canyon into the mountains in the Carson National Forest. The parking lot for the trailhead was usually full, even on a weekday in July. Half-day llama treks were conducted both days I was there. Which sites are pull through ?And important to me, are they wide enough to actually drive into. I've gone to Utah (Red Canyon) and New Mexico (Silver campground) where the pull throughs have trees next to sharp curve of drive and some steep drop offs, so not usable....
