- WhereTheWindBlows If you have a tow, it's best to park in town and drive around and find a spot. It's extremely dusty. There are lots of hidden sites so take your time looking. April was very quiet and there were few campers. We couldn't actually see anyone else from our site.10 years ago Alabama Hills Recreation Area
