“Open in October”
Nightly Rate: $53 USD
This campground was open in the middle of October, which is a plus. We stayed 3 nights--just us in the lower pull-throughs and one other camper in the area up the hill. We had site 8, which was...

We drove up to Taos Ski Village, and the aspens were gorgeous. We did the Enchanted Circle and stopped at the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument to view the confluence of the Rio Grande and Red Rivers. We also visited the Kit Carson House.
“Beautiful Canyon Setting”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
We stayed here in mid-September. The campground was very clean and well kept. No cell service, but outstanding fast WiFi - enough to make a call. The hosts were great and very helpful. The lots were...

Tips from campers about Taos Canyon Stop RV Park
- wellibe The drive in from Wakefield is 16 miles of the roughest paved road that I've traveled in a while. Mostly 35 mph or less if you want to avoid damaging your rig.6 months ago Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park
- RVL421166 Bring screen tent if you have one. Flies were really bad a couple of the days. Mosquitoes not as bad because it was windy most of the time. Great sunsets over Lake Superior.
- 1998 Ultrasport It's about 20 miles to the closest gas, restaurant and grocery store. Plan accordingly. Say HI to Scott and Paul at the ranger station when you go in. Both GREAT guys to talk to and VERY helpful. Tell them "Steve" said HI! Pick up some Keweenaw Brewing Widow Maker dark beer. Good stuff.

Tip for Other Campers:
Major road construction project between Angelfire and campground. Gonna be there through winter. Check out Comanch Creek Brewery, just North of Eagle Nest. It has great brews and views!

“Beautiful Spot, Not Much to Do, Small Spaces”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
If you have any hopes of your cellular network working here, forget it! I tried AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, not a single bar on any of them. That being said, their park wifi is outstanding! Generally...
