We had a couple of very good pizzas at Pizza Patio in Alamogordo. We selected this restaurant as it had outdoor seating, which is a must for our dog. This pizza place had many pasta dishes as well. Recommended.Pistachio Land was quite fun. Tried their different pistachio flavors. Loved their Ranch. I enjoyed their Green Chili flavor....

Tips from campers about Mountain Meadows RV Park
- Rsqared In Cloudcroft we visited the Cloudcroft Brewery for good beers and delicious pizza. Lots of cute shops, bakery and wine tasting. We also visited the Space Museum, McGinnis Pistachio Farm and White Sands National Park. Due to a couple of high wind days we were unable to visit Oliver Lee Memorial or Desert Foothills State Parks High winds winter and early spring in southern New Mexico. Question:
Update to the Rattlesnake Rd concern: The alternate road was closed when we visited earlier this month. We had no problem whatsoever with the large dip in the road with our 40 ft motorhome while towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee....
