Not much information about local area. Got an event sheet for June 29th but no effort was made to tell about July 4th events.

Site 8 was all grass/back in. Could see the lake through our trees. Across field from pavilion. We camped at Crazy Acres CG at Beaver Spring Lake in a Motorhome.

There are a couple of gas/convivence stores close by, but you will drive about 25 minutes to get to a Walmart and a few other stores and restaurants.
