We visited Prospect Mountain to see some gorgeous views. We also drove about 90min up to see Ausable Chasm which was 100% worth it!

Tips from campers about Lake George Escape Campground
- kott Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is 5 min away. We enjoyed eating at Agave's Mexican Restaurant in Ferdinand 15 min away. Groceries can be bought at Holiday Foods.7 months ago Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph
- jcems51 Holiday World is the big draw. Really clean family run amusement park, lots of quality thrill rides along with a good selection of kids rides. A nice perk are the "free" soft drink stations throughout the park. Free shuttle from the campground to several bus stops throughout. Big discounts for military, nurses, first responders. Abraham Lincoln Boyhood Home National Historic Site is about 5 miles away, great history. Def check out lake George and the shops there. Bolton landing is a more adult area - less stores, arcades, kids stuff. Do the hikes at prospect and pinnacle

We had an excellent site with full hookups. The activities were plentiful and the onsite pub was great! We camped at Lake George Escape Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Plenty of hiking within an hours drive. Adirondack pub and brewery was excellent. Lizzy Keays in Warrensburg was very good too. Would definitely come back!
