“Great location!”
Nightly Rate: $72 USD
Loved the park. The camp hosts was friendly and helpful. Close to some good restaurants & the LIRR (Long Island rail road). We took the train into NYC on 3 different occasions. Had no problem at all....

Tip for Other Campers:
Point Lookout has a nice ice cream shop (Skippardees) and the Long Beach boardwalk is close by in the other direction. ** BEWARE the directions: if your rig is over 8 feet you cannot use most parkways and you have to use a local road before getting on the Meadowbrook to the Loop Parkway. Use an RV GPS or app to navigate getting to this area.

“Near the beach and everything you need is nearby.”

Campground is flat with no shade. Like a parking lot. Had electric and water and walking distance to a beautiful beach. We camped at Nickerson Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be careful with navigation. Most RVs are too tall for parkways on Long Island so follow truck routes. LI Expressway is safe for you.

“After 9PM the campground is secured, you then have to park your tow vehicle outside the campground. ”

The sites are more than adequate, with access to the beach. We camped at Nickerson Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Point Lookout has the closest dining experiences. Don't forget the ice cream experience at Marvel, If you venture into the West End of Long Beach you can walk to many bar/restaurants. Heads up traffic is intense and parking is at a premium.
