Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of skunks and woodchucks in the area. Most are babies so they wont bother you. Just keep an eye on little doggies and kids...

Tips from campers about Selkirk Shores State Park
- Budgie60 If you golf, theres a nice 9 hole course approximately 15 minutes away on the Oklahoma side of the lake called Buncombe Creek Golf Course. $25 for 9 holes including cart and range balls, $30 for 18 holes. - Bill & Barbara Easy access, even for big rigs. In the older sections some turns are a little tight and as always, pay attention to tree limbs. The new section will support even the largest of rigs (always see a few 45 class As!). The speed bumps are a bit aggressive and I always think a leveling jack is going to hit but all is fine, just take it slow.Power, water and phone service (AT&T) is always good (though Ive had a few sites in the older sections that had power problems (only 50A or only 30A, etc) though always good 120V solid. My water regulator is set at 40 psi and have never had an issue with low pressure / flow.4 months ago Thousand Trails Lake Texoma

Tip for Other Campers:
The neighboring town of Pulaski is small, but it does have a good Mavis tire service which I needed. We enjoyed the pipe organ at a local Methodist church on Sunday morning.

We had very nice sites in Loop A which backed onto a forest at the end of the road. Nice campground overall, but from experience here and at Westcott Beach, I don't think anyone enforces the rules....

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much to do in the area. We did go to Salmon Falls Unique Area. Nice forest path with fall views and you can walk on the upper riverbed.
