Tip for Other Campers:
Sackett's Harbor is a wonderful War of 1812 site not too far away. They have very good exhibits and a house tour.

Tip for Other Campers:
Due to the water quality I would recommend bringing more than one water filter with you if staying for more than three days. If coming north on I-81 get off at the Pulaski exit (36). Take Rt 13 west to Rt 3 north. This is an easy ride and better road than what your GPS might recommend.
Tips from campers about Southwick Beach State Park
- NewRVers2022 The nearby hike to Blue Pool is tough for older folks but the pool is so worth the effort. Incredible blue water color looking down in the pool is unmatched anywhere. Hike to Proxy Falls is short and relatively easy with two beautiful waterfalls to enjoy. Bring plenty of food because there are only two markets in the area and they have minimal choices and high prices. Very beautiful area to visit to the east but a short distance to the west the forest has been devastated by fire for miles. Really sad to see that. “Full Hookups”
Nightly Rate: $27 USD
Stayed in F section which is the newest area and has huge, well spaced sites that are full hookups. Great beach and bike riding areas. We camped at Southwick Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

“Beautiful area really nice beach”

The sites were very big. We were in the D Loop which has full hookups. Pave and concreted sites We camped at Southwick Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We had arranged for our Airstream group to have a private luncheon at the Gill House, located in Henderson Harbor. Great food and spectacular view.
