We really enjoyed the ecological preserve past Raleigh. We got to see icebergs (even though it was August and we had heard it was unlikely). We also enjoyed the overlook from the cemetery above Ship Cove. Drive all the way to the end of the road and you may see a sign indicating a scenic overlook up the hill.
