Tip for Other Campers:
Campground is adequate. Not a lot else nearby, good location to explore. We loved Trinity, Bonavista lighthouse was closed when we got there so was Williams ship. Gorgeous drive! Laundromat in Clarenville is nice and very clean.

Tip for Other Campers:
Our plan had been to revisit the upper points of the Bonavista peninsula, looking for puffins, but it was cold and rainy and our dog hurt her paw on the beach at our last stop, so we ended up getting last-minute vet care in Clarenville, instead, thank you Community Vet Hospital!!!!

Advertised heated pool. One was heated, but VERY small and full of kids. Other was empty, small too, but not heated! Pools close at 6 PM. Keep them open later with "Adult times"! Hot tub was too...

Tip for Other Campers:
Suggest touring around this Bonavista are wonderful. Staying aroung the campground is aggravating if you don't like listening to kids on motorized bikes & dogs barking.
Lots of activities. Pool, beach, boat or canoe rentals, go carts. Sites are clean, level and easy to access. Lake is beautiful. We camped at The Lakeside at Thorburn in a Travel Trailer.
