“Very nice campground. Quiet and clean.”

We have stayed here a few times and have loved it every time. Nice large, spaced sites for most of the sites. We camped at Lake Powhatan Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Tips from campers about Lake Powhatan Recreation Area
- Tn22 Must go to Mills River Brewing Company. This is the first Brewery we had been to that had a full bar with liquor and wine, along with some awesome craft brews. A nice feature for the non-beer drinkers in the group. The food truck outside was a permanent fixture and had some good food, so much we returned a second time during our long weekend. Burning Blush brewery was a good find also, although they only served beer and the food truck was one of many that rotated in.4 years ago Lake Powhatan Recreation Area
- vincee Our Garmin GPS did not detect the campground at the end of the road, just drive straight into the campground.
