Do whatever you need to do on your phone/laptop long before you begin the journey up the mountain, as you'll have no access up there!

Grocery stores and restaurants within 35 minutes away.
No cell service
Dont use gps to get there, most of the time it will send you the wrong way
Tips from campers about Black Mountain Campground
- Nick86 Fargo ND is only one hour away and definitely a good day trip. If you enjoy history and museums, go check out Bonanzaville. In Detroit Lakes, a Walmart and Aldi are only minutes from the park entrance. For a spot on the lake to eat and listen to music, be sure to check out Long Bridge Bar, Grill and Marina.2 years ago Forest Hills RV & Golf Resort
