This RV campground is attached to a private airfield. It is off the main roads so pretty quiet. Most of the guests seem to be longer term. A few spots open to short term stays. Need to reserve online....

Tip for Other Campers:
Pick N Pig BBQ is in the same complex as airfield and RV park. Nice BBQ. Has outdoor and indoor seating. Only open 11am - 4pm Thursdays- Sunday.
Tips from campers about Airport RV Park
- Blinkies There is a Food Lion nearby and a Walgreens. The town of Carthage has some cute little shops with friendly people. The Soup Company has great soups and sandwiches. Ronnie's Chuckwagon is a good place for a quick bite - hotdogs, pulled pork, hamburgers, etc. Buggy's has a great breakfast burrito and coffee. Pete's Family Restaurant is a great local place to grab breakfast. Casa Garcia has some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever tasted. The closest Catholic Church is Sacred Heart in Pinehurst. It's a beautiful church that is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. Stubbs BBQ has some of the best catfish platters I've ever had, and the Pik n Pig is nice and close for some good take out or eat in Pork sandwiches and chicken wings. Harris Tettler grocery store about 20 minutes drive in Southern Pines. Wow what a grocery store. Also PicnPig restaurant in on the airport as well. Really great BarBQue. Little hard to get...
