Try out the Fish Hut Grill, just a couple of blocks down the road. Also make sure that you go to Beufort and charming town at the other end of the island..perhaps a 50 minute drive. Plenty of great eating in this town. We ate at Moonrakers and loved the service, and food, both first rate. If you want to take the ferry over to the South Outer banks, do it in...

Tips from campers about Emerald Isle RV Resort
- ChrisGH Try out the Fish Hut Grill, just a couple of blocks down the road. Also make sure that you go to Beufort and charming town at the other end of the island..perhaps a 50 minute drive. Plenty of great eating in this town. We ate at Moonrakers and loved the service, and food, both first rate. If you want to take the ferry over to the South Outer banks, do it in the morning. We left it too late in the day (230pm) and so will have to do it next trip. Go and see the Fort Macon state park at the eastern end of Emerald Isle, very interesting history indeed.2 weeks ago Emerald Isle RV Resort
