Franklin is about 15 - 20 miles to get to a Walmart and a few fast food restaurants.

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much to do in the park, but it is an outstanding jumping off point for motorcycle riding. We had as much (or more) fun riding Wayah Road to get to the Tail of the Dragon as we did riding the Dragon itself.
