- William_64ff18640b0db Got to check out Stone Mountain, NC, the New River (second oldest river in the world in the second oldest mountain range in the world. Beautiful views. Got to check out West Jefferson and some great brew at Boondocks Brewery Taproom and Restaurant. Don't forget to stop in at the Ashe County Cheese outlet and pick up some great cheese.1 year ago Raccoon Holler Campground
- myoishere We have a 43 ft fifth wheel and the road to the ranch is quite windy. It was a little worrisome in some areas but we managed alright. There is a really pretty drive down the other side of the road that takes you on a one lane gravel state rd out about a mile from the blue ridge parkway! Its beautiful but I wouldnt recommend it for any vehicle over 20 ft. Definitely check out the swimming hole at the beach on the creek. They recommend Boone, which is really close and a great place to visit as well as West Jefferson which turned out to have a cute downtown area!2 years ago Blue Ridge Ranch RV & Campground
