Tip for Other Campers:
Grand Olde Station is quite nearby. A little pricey but excellent food in a wonderful setting. A Mexican restaurant is also nearby. Excellent and very reasonably priced. Close to Cashiers and Brevard. Lots of waterfalls worth seeing in the area. We especially liked Whitewater Falls and Gorges State Park.

- 49DAY - If you need to stock up on groceries or want to eat a restaurant, Incline Village, NV is only 15 minutes to the west and Reno, NV is only 35 minutes to the northwest. - Hiking is the primary activity (other than chilling out). Chickadee Ridge is only 5 minutes west on NV-431 (Mt Rose Highway). - There is an scenic overlook on the way to the Mt Rose Ski Resort. There are so many waterfalls and hikes to choose from in this area alone without even needing to drive up to the NP. The cute shopping area in Brevard is also a short drive away.

Tip for Other Campers:
There are nice Water Falls, and hiking in the area some even were (73 years) could do. Unbelievable, beautiful, National Forest, with small quaint villages and towns, with great restaurants and shops!

Tip for Other Campers:
Gorges State Park (Rainbow and Turtleback Falls) is just down the road as is Whitewater Falls - about 20min drive. The Market a few miles away has good selection of wines, cheeses and frozen meals. The Grande Old Station restaurant is close by (1 mile) - didnt go there but looks nice and menu ok.
