Tip for Other Campers:
Close to Cherokee and the Great Smokies National Park. The nearby towns of Sylva and Dillsboro have quality shops and good restaurants. Sylva has a Wal-mart. Waynesville and Bryson City are worth exploring as well and close by.Dont miss the visitors center in Sylva. Great maps and advice for waterfall routes and hiking on offer. Be careful pulling into the campground! Swing wide following the signs.Don't miss Meg's Breads in Cookeville - great sourdough breads, muffins, cookies, etc. We ate at Crawdaddy's West Side Grill and World Foods Deli - both quite good. There's a Walmart in Cookeville, too - handy for our prescription refills. Definitely visit Dale Hollow Lake. Small...
