Great hiking and biking trails in the property. Very Pet and kid Friendly. Quiet, but lively with very polite guests and staff.

WARNINGHeed the advice of ignoring GPS to get here as some of the roads leading here are one lane dirt roads that are impassable for ANY towable rigs of ANY length!!!

Tip for Other Campers:
We had a great time attending the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, riding the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, seeing the local waterfalls and Christmas tree farms, as well as touring through the Linville Caverns. There was plenty of necessity shopping in Newland and Linville and we ate a great breakfast at the Cranberry Street Cafe in Newland, NC.

We had a nice gravel pull in site #P2. New picnic table, nice fire ring with plenty of room. Beautiful view of the mountains. We camped at Plumtree Campground and Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

How's the WiFi? The app shows WiFi as checked in the connectivity section. In my experience sometimes that doesn't necessarily mean anything. For example at another campsite the WiFi box was checked but due to the low bandwidth, I was never able to connect....
