Tip for Other Campers:
Springer Preserve is a nice short walk among live oaks and along the water, lots of birds, easy smooth path, limited parking (use nearby church, donations accepted, not during services).
Island ponies are cute, but no longer run free - corralled in large area but worth a quick stop.

Tip for Other Campers:
Theres a lot of shops and restaurants and close to a beach by foot. All the other beaches you will need to drive to. Great place to hang out for a week.

Small, no frills camping. Had 50amp FHU pull through site but was parked next to bath house. We camped at Jerniman's Campground in a Travel Trailer.
