Great spot to visit the Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State parks. Also a short drive to visit Mount Airy, NC.

Mt. Airy and Hangjng Rock are within a half hour drive. There is a lot to do in the valley, especially if you like wine.
Tips from campers about Greystone RV Park
- mshaffer Definitely do the hike around the base of Pilot Mountain... amazing views and incredible rock formations! Also, check out Hanging Rock State Park, but don't miss the "Lower Cascades"... not well marked, but incredibly beautiful after a short hike from the parking lot. Tip for Other Campers:
Great location to visit Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock. Mt. Airey (aka Mayberry), Winston Salem, or surronding areas. Mt. Airey and King are close by and both have grocery stores, wal-mart, and resturants. There are lots of wineries in the area to explore and great hiking.

Great spot. We only stayed one night as we were passing through. The communication, staff and facility was great. Very clean! We camped at Greystone RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
